Most of the men who come to Odessa are interested in meeting women. There are at least 17 marriage agencies in Odessa. That much competition tends to reinforce that there is a market worth competing over. OdessaFX is not involved with marriage agencies. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to provide some considerations for men who will be coming here and who will be interested in meeting women.

It is necessary to be blunt, direct and minimize ambiguity. I listen, observe, notice patterns, see trends and results of how western men approach Ukrainian women. I'm not Doctor Love, but as Albert Einstein once said, "Insanity is repeating the same things over and over and expecting different results."

As a western man you have a massive financial advantage. Many men use their financial advantage more as a crutch than as an advantage. Many men rely upon their money to attract the interest of a woman. Women are not stupid. If your effort is to buy a woman's attention she will have one of three reactions. First, she may be insulted and refuse your "gift". Second, she may accept what you have to offer...in the short-term. Third, she may be insulted and take what you have to offer for the long-term.

Men who rely upon their finances to acquire a relationship similarly have one of three reactions when things don't turn out well. First, men get upset that a women gets insulted and does not accept their gift. Second, they get upset when a woman does accept their gift but not the relationship. Third, men get upset when the women accept the gift and concedes to a long-term relationship, but remains aloof, cold and has a headache every night.

Women are more interested in love, romance and companionship than money. If you start your relationship on matters of money, it will end on matters of money - most of the time. Lock up your wallet. Don't avoid, but minimize talk about your work. Don't buy expensive gifts, jewelry or electronics. Avoid fancy restaurants. Avoid movie theaters. Don't talk about your money or what you own. Carry money, pay for all expenses - but actively engage to minimize expenses.

The wealthier you are...the more handicapped you are likely to be in these things. If your response to any given "problem" is what you can buy or who you can hire to solve it, it is really important for you to take a different approach. If you've been successful in business, career and finances, you can easily succeed in finding new approaches.

There are a few important things that are enormously useful for interacting meaningfully with women. Learn how to dance, a little...get up and get down, and even if you don't dance well - you are at least moving and a little movement shows that you are alive. Forget about composure, be a little less disciplined.

Engage to expand your sense of humor. Learn how to disagree without arguing, be able to say no and be indefinite. Actively engage to notice small things about a woman. Tease them about it. Develop a long list of questions for her, lots of small ones and some big ones. Be interested in her. Be honest about yourself. Learn how to cook. If the only thing you can do is cook and dance...you can sweep a woman off her feet.

Seriously, take a look at what everyone else does, and do something different. Why go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant and be surrounded by complete strangers? You can make a much nicer dinner at home and have complete control over the atmosphere. Ukrainian women also love nature. Find a simple game to play. Have fun. Engage to bring her to enjoy being around you. The more interested she is in you as a person, the less she will be interested in your money - and the more likely you will develop a priceless relationship.
